Around the property, you could.....

  • Do nothing but relax and soak in the country air or sit on one of the screen enclosed verandahs and read a good book or magazine from our library
  • Write 'n' Post - Write a note to a friend - we provide the writing paper and a stamped envelope for your convenience; you can even pinch the pen!
  • Play one of the many games provided or a round of cards
  • Walk around the property and see our other pets or stroll down to the creek; whichever, Harry will go with you
  • How about a game of Boule or a listen to a CD or watch a DVD

In the Lockyer Valley, you could.....

  • Take a walk or bring your bike and ride to the end of the valley - about 5ks, nice and flat with scenery that will take your breath away
  • Visit one of the many country markets, some held every weekend; Sat. & Sun.
  • We recommend the Mulgowie Real Farmers' Market - Held on the first Saturday of EVERY month 7.30 - 11am -  use our map locater on the first page for driving directions to Mulgowie 4341 or you can ring Judith on 07 54667190 for information
  • Visit our really old local pub "The Mulga" for a great meal, cold beer and great coffee; have a yarn with the locals - probably about the weather
  • Drive to quaint local hamlets that abound with magical cafes, and craft or gift stores; an old post office that still operates and a great old Italian eatery, Das Neumann Haus Museum and Pioneer Village
  • What about hot air ballooning or sky diving and just a little further afield, visit a country Zoo, The Cuckoo Clock Shop, Chocolate Factory, Japanese Gardens, Geranium Nursery and so much more
